Lindsey

Lindsey

Trainer

Lindsey utilizes a holistic approach to training and horsemanship, believing that we are horsemen first and riders second. She holds an Equine-focused Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and over 20 years of experience in various roles—including groom, ranch hand, trainer's assistant, instructor, and Equinology-certified Equine Bodyworker. This background has allowed her to develop a comprehensive and integrative training philosophy, uniquely sharpened by her understanding of horse and rider biomechanics.

Many recognize Lindsey from her years traveling across the western United States as a professional Saddle Fitter, as well as her collaborations with several esteemed Dressage, Eventing, and Hunter-Jumper trainers throughout Northern California. Another highlight of her career was volunteering with CANTER California to retrain off-the-track Thoroughbreds. Passionate about equine welfare, Lindsey currently owns and trains her rescued mare, Fiona, whom she adopted as a halter-broke 2-year-old.

In addition to pursuing her own dressage goals, Lindsey currently offers select opportunities for training and sales. She strives to develop well-rounded horses with sustainable workloads and carefully tailored, individualized care. Her holistic approach includes bodywork, groundwork, cavaletti, pole work, and regular trail rides, along with comprehensive tack and nutrition assessments to ensure a thorough approach to equine well-being.

Jane Ewer

Jane Ewer

Trainer

Jane Ewer has been riding dressage for most of her life.  She is a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist, and has trained multiple riders to their Gold and Silver medals as well.  Jane spent a total of six years training and competing in Europe and was lucky enough to have help from such dressage legends as Harry Boldt and Willi Schultheis. After she returned to the states Jane was an early protégé of 6-time Olympian Robert Dover, and still works extensively with Olympian Jan Ebeling. (courtesy of www.janeewer.com)
